- One Instructor per person or per group
- One hour confined water tune up session
- Rental equipment
(tank, regulator, BCD, wetsuit, lead)

(mask, fins, snorkel, boots, gloves, gear bag)
- Scuba tune up book ($16)

The Scuba Tune up uses the home study method: Student completes homework before start of confined water session.
Part one of Scuba Tune Up Training: Academic
- Home study (Before first academic session all participants must complete all prerequisite homework in scuba tune up book)
- Before going into the pool the Instructor will complete prerequisite paperwork and go over knowledge reveiw
- Instructor will expand on new equipment
Part Two of Scuba Tune Up Training: Confined Water
- Instructor will complete a one hour pool session
- Recommended: For participants that have old out dated equipment, the Instructor will allow use of new style equipment in pool session only.
Part Three of Scuba Tune Up Training: Ocean dive ( Optional )
- Instructor will complete one ocean dive from beach
- Recommended: For participants that do not want to dive from beach, Instructor will take you to Catalina to dive from Casino Dive park. Student is required to pay for Instructor boat passage and $50 for Instructors time.
