The private referral program has three parts. Part one academic. Part two pool session(s). Part three is the ocean dives at the destination of your choice. Part one and two can be completed in just one day.

Referral lessons use home study or On-line method:

Part one: ACADEMIC

• SDI Home study method (Before first academic session complete all prerequisite homework in Student kit) Once complete, call store for start time for first in store academic session. Average time for academic session 2 hours
• OR - Complete all portions of SDI on-line academics, print all quizes and exams. Once complete, call store for start time for first in store academic session. Average time for academic session 1 hour

Part Two: CONFINED POOL

• Bring all personal gear to first pool session (mask, snorkel, fins, boots, gloves, wetsuit, gear bag)
• Average time for pool sessions 2 hours each session. Pool sessions are designed to meet your watermanship level. Most students can be complete in one 2 hour session
• Group lessons include beach dives. Beach dives are scheduled by your Instructor on either Saturday or Sunday mornings from 7 am to 10 pm.

Once complete, your Instructor will deliver all necessary paperwork to complete your final 4 ocean dives at the destinatin of your choice. All SDI Referrals work anywhere in the world. The instructor that completes your ocean dives will complete your paperwork and give it back to you. Student then brings paperwork back to Liburdis and a store Instructor will complete final certification card processing.
